Appointment Policy

To allow ample time for all patients and scheduled surgical procedures, we operate primarily by appointment. Emergency cases shall always receive top priority, which is why occasional appointment delay is inevitable. Please realize that we make a sincere attempt to see each client on time.

Patient Arrival Policy

For your protection, and that of others, all dogs should be on a leash and properly controlled while in the waiting area or exam rooms.  All cats should be presented in an appropriate carrier.  

 A veterinary hospital often has a wide variety of ill, scared, aggressive or fearful pets present & unpredictable situations may arise.  If you do not have a crate or leash, we will be happy to provide one.

Pet Friendly  -  Low Stress Pet Visits

We wish to minimize your pet's stress and will offer you a 'scarf' (dogs) or a towel (cats) treated with a calming pheromone (Adaptil - for dogs, or Feliway - for cats).  We also have diffusers with Adaptil and Feliway throughout our hospital releasing these calming pheromones.  

If you think your pet is or will still be overly anxious for the visit, please talk to us about these concerns, so we can do everything possible to minimize this anxiety.
 

Payment Policy

We require full payment at the time that services are rendered. We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, CareCredit, cash and personal checks.  If you need to know the fees related to your pet's care, please ask for an estimate of expected charges prior to services being provided.  You also have the option of our new Be Well Pet Club Wellness Plans for preventive care that can budget your payment throughout 12 months. We are happy to help you choose the best care you can afford for your pet. 

Vaccinations

We require all dogs and cats to be current on their Rabies vaccination for services to be rendered.  If a pet is too ill to be vaccinated, we will delay the vaccination until the pet has sufficiently recovered.
